Somewhat amazingly, Ogando got out of it without allowing any runs.

Down 2 headed to the top of the 9th.

0-6 is looking probable.

Not being able to add on when we had chances has really cost us.

I am not surprised at all. Situational hitting and inconsistent pitching will be the theme for 16

The pitching has been consistent. Consistently bad.

I know of at least 3 at bats where Garcia has struck out with a man on third with less than 2 outs.

Rio Ruiz will likely be our third baseman of the future, and Folty has potential, I think he's better suited for a late relief role, but he could be a starter.

I know I'm probably jinxing, but if you're not watching, you're missing a hell of a pitcher's duel.

And this is where we lose the game.

2 outs, and they take out Chacin for a pinch hitter in the top of the 75th after only around 70 pitches, 8 strikeouts and no walks.

Looks like we're finally gonna have a starter go deep into a game, but nope, we're gonna have to rely on our shaky bull pen to maintain a 0-0 tie.

Of course Peterson strikes out in his pinch hit appearance.

I fully expect the Nats to put up 6 runs in the bottom half of the inning.

You don't take out a pitcher that's rolling along scoreless and so efficiently just because the 8 hitter hits a 2 out double in the top of the 7th.

It was like Heaven seeing no walks to this point and a pitching painting the corners.
