Was Banderas not pissing anyone else off? He was out of position frequently and missed a couple of sacks. I miss Mike Rose. Our lack of depth seemed to show a lot today. The offense looked and felt different after Bell and Turner went out.

Westy is amazing. Fricken legend status already.

Ameer, I love that guy.

And.... I want to punch Jake Cotton in the face. Not really, but that kid pissed me the fuck off today.

Ever since last season I have thought that banderas was really quite bad. Everyone talked a lot about losing Leroy Alexander but the Rose injury was almost ignored because people thought "oh we have banderas there too, we'll be fine". I didn't think we would be fine :(

We've talked about losing Rose was the worst hit in camp, RA specifically called it out. Santoe's didn't fair much better

Yea we were all sick over losing Rose.

But let's be honest, where we really got humiliated today was at the line of scrimmage. Our Defensive Line was DEAD today. Looked like they went out and partied last night.

It was awful.

Agreed

Ive yet to see what the press was shitting rainbows about VV and Collins from camp, if it's just that RG isn't playing then that gets me the opposite of excited

I knew Bando would certainly be a down grade, but not to this degree. That's a huge gap between the 1 and 2 at the Mike. Shouldn't be that big of a discrepency. Ugh.

I know WE were upset about Rose. I was referring to the media. And I blame that on their attempt to make Nebraska local talent seem better than it is

Exactly. I mean I thought bando would be a step down but so far it's been like taking out a 2 year started and replacing him with a highschool junior. Guy looks like he is beyond lost

He was a highly touted all american whom we barely saw play. There was really no guessing how good or bad he would be this year.

I remember Osborne saying that play calling was overrated. Maybe up to a point, but when a coaching staffing continually tries to push a round peg into a square hole, such as allowing a QB who isn't a passing QB to pass down after down, play calling really does play a huge part in the deal.

Speaking of defense, how bout that Bud Foster defense?! We'll never see that kind of defense with Pelini going onto a field such as Columbus Ohio with a 107,000 fan record crowd and walking out with a 14 point win!!!

well you need to get your vision checked…if you think this team doesn't make a bowl game you're wrong

If we keeping having injuries it could happen for sure coupled with some of the strangest play calling in America!
