I can not say it is a smart move on a new coach to get a cancer in the locker room. Him and Eric Decker would be a good combo IMO with a decent QB. So not sure how this works out?

Rumored to be for a late round pick(5,6,7). Sounds about right for an aging player. Draft picks are like gold in the NFL and aging stars aren't usually traded for high picks.

I think a 5th is high for him. 6th or 7th I can see. Bears dumping salary and cancer in one move. My idea of the pick was based off Boldin trade. So a 5th I can if you really want him. I would just stay clear if I was a GM or coach. He has been a distraction adventually everywhere he has gone.

Harvin pisses me off. As a playmaker I'd love to have him on our offense and returning kicks for us. As a person I don't want him anywhere near our team. Damn shame.

What does Marshal's contract look like? I would have given up a 5th rounder for him if he understood that he ranks very squarely behind Megatron AND Tate in the receiving hierarchy and was cool with that in exchange for being on a winner (and playing CHI twice a year), pending his cap number, of course. He'd be a bomb-ass redzone threat and possession guy down the seam for us...

You might want to think it through again. First of all, I remember cutler being a much better QB before Marshall got here. He seemed to have much less tunnel vision. Second, there is not guarantee that cutler will be here next year. And finally, if you are really worrying about the bears in the next year or two, you probably have no shot at a Super Bowl because the bears will most likely be awful. The lions were a one hit wonder this year. Many of the playmakers are leaving and Calvin Johnson will only continue to get injured. If your front office was smart, they would start to rebuild right now as well.
