Dad, World Traveler, Investor, college football
When I picked him up from college, he told me to take him straight to the casino.
So, called Mom and had her meet us at the casino.
We get him registered and he gets free play and he tries some stupid slot machine(he hated it), a Video Poker machine, he enjoyed it. He won 4.42 playing video poker.
We then go play some blackjack, he loses the 20 Mom gave him. He hates blackjack.
We then go play Craps. He now LOVES, LOVES, LOVES craps. Just like his Dad.
I gave him 80 bucks and I have 100. My first roll is nothing special probably break even. I am teaching him conservative play since it is his first time, and Craps can be very confusing to a new player.
My son's roll is up. He goes on a nice roll and he is up over $100 and I am up over $100.
He slowly gets the hang of the game, but he pretty much followed my betting and listened to me, but he would do some odd things on his own. Since we were were winning, I was okay with it. The other shooters at the table did normal bad shooting.
Our second rolls, again I break even maybe a little ahead. I crap out and it is my son's roll.
My son goes on a MONSTER roll. I always make bets for the dealers, and I am usually the first one to do it, then others follow. He follows my dealer bets. He probably won the dealers over $300 which is quite a bit at a local casino.
The crowd around the table was two deep, and we had several pit bosses and other non working dealers watching him roll. Probably trying to figure out if we were cheating.
My first time playing I was tipped $50 bucks from other players, my son received $65 from other players so he beat my personal record.
When he colored up he had over $500 and I was over $400. I know for fact he doubled one players buy in, and some of the players that had been at the table before we got there he quadrupled their chip stack. They had two complete trays of greens in front of them.
On the way out, a pit boss even congratulated him on his monster roll. I never had that happen to me at the MGM. When we left, he got the usual applause, most of the rest of the table colored up and left with us and he was getting fist pumps from random people for his monster roll.
Oh yeah, he thinks he is hot stuff.
