This is what I suspect. Garoppolo gets his chance for several games.

NFL Player's Union would appeal and it would likely easily be overturned. They can fine the Pats for not making the attendant available. Similar to Stickum Gate in San Diego when the ball attendant resisted complying with officials - $25K fine.

why? Wouldn't Brady have to appeal? And how would it get overturned without new evidence? I think it will be more, simply due to Spygate.

The report says that the team and coaches didn't have anything to do with this. Brady "probably" knew "something". If the league tries to suspend Brady, my guess is that he sues the NFL. Gets an injunction to suspend the season until he's either exonerated or proven wrong. The Wells report would be the most evidence that the league would have and it states that there is no physical evidence, everything is circumstantial.

I haven't been able to find the complete 243 page report, but I figure it'll show up online pretty quick.

That's what the Player's Union does... they intervened for Ray Rice's indefinite suspension, and won.

Why suspended? Brady had nothing to to do with Spygate. BB and Kraft and were cleared in this BS. So if I remember correctly, it was a 25,000 fine if it was found a player messed with the ball. I still have yet to see 100% actual proof that TB had them do this. So why is he getting suspended?

Don't see anyone from the Vikes, who were caught red handed messing with footballs pay a fine or get suspended....oh wait.....it's not NE.

They made him available 4 times to the investigators. That was excessive enough. They refused to have him available for a 5th interview. I said elsewhere here, a well run, organized investigation only needed to talk with McNally twice. Once at the beginning and once at the end. That's evidence enough of a haphazard investigation process.

Brady's agent came out and blasted the report.... link

Looks like the league will be in for a fight over discipline, if it comes down to that.

Suspension is a given. How many though? Goofdell looking to make a statement to 'protect the integrity of the game' could be severe.

My gut says that Goofdell will cave in to public pressure and suspend Brady 4 games and fine him $25K. Since the report exonerates BB and management they shouldn't be fined or lose any picks. Jimm G..step right up. You are on the clock.

Whatever suspension is announced will likely be greatly reduced by the end of the appeal.

I'm thinking that he gets 2 games, and a nice size fine. I hope they announce it soon, so that this doesn't drag on for the next 2 months.

Please answer me this question.....what is Brady being suspended for? Because he probably knew that Goodell jerks off to Giselle's Victoria Secret ads? Or that Ted Wells probably gave Goodell a blowjob to get the investigation gig? Since when can you suspend someone for "probably" being aware that something happened.

All of the NFL owners don't have enough money to lose in a lawsuit over something that """"PROBABLY"""" happened. Where in the report does it say that Brady Definitely had knowledge or purposefully instructed anyone to UNDERINFLATE or DEFLATE a ball below the NFL minimum.

I'm not a lawyer but I could take this court and make my grandchildren's grandchildren rich.

Goodell's an attorney and he knows he can't push this very hard. a fuck up here and he's history or the NFL becomes the BFL. (Brady's Football League).

The thing that pisses off the most is that the assholes will be all over this for the next 10 years. Maybe 20.

I pledge I will not answer any Troll attempts to lure me into a discussion forcing me to defend the Greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL, Tom Brady>

No way Brady gets suspended. If Goodell even tries it will get overturned immediately. How can you suspend somebody on possibly and maybe's?

This is embarrassing for the NFL and Americans in general. Are we seriously talking about air pressure in footballs and it's making nonstop national headline news?

Brady's attorney brought up good points that cannot be ignored even though the NFL will try. Did the NFL actually conspire with the Colts to sting the Pats? How can Goodell keep his job if that actually happened?

I live in Los Angeles and work with fans from all around the country. Everybody I work with (Steelers/Broncos/Saints/Packers/Raiders/Chargers fans) all think it's a joke. The outrage is only in the media and on message boards.

Looks like the league is trying their best to make their sting operation a success. Wells is playing the part of a prosecuting attorney instead of an impartial investigator.

The word probable is used in the NFL contract (its what they use basically as guilty beyond a reasonable doubt).ther are about 25 min of phone conversations between brady & mcnally & a bunch of texts, tom knew about it.brady breaking the rules will result in a suspension, the patriots stopping cooperation will result in some other suspension

I have a hard time seeing him get suspended. There seems to be so much missing from this report, that the NFL might have an issue. TB agent has the entire interview written down, and Wells left a ton out. Not good at all for the NFL. I am willing to bet, there is some type of lawsuit in the works for a defamation of character out there. The Wells report took a player who was considered by many to be the GOAT, now he is a scrub. Now if he did it and lied, well that is all on him.

His suspension would be more for him not turning over 'evidence' and so they view his non-cooperation as being detrimental to the investigation. That's what they will hang him for more than anything else. Supposedly a year is being considered based on some articles floating around the stratosphere.
