The problem with the argument about destroying phones for privacy/security is he apparently had not destroyed the phone he was using prior to the phone he destroyed. It was available for investigation.

Really....WOW. So much going on I cannot keep up. That is not good at all.

I guess the league didn't have the stomach for delving into all of Brady's contacts during that time frame (somewhat messy but interesting play). The more I think about it, frankly, I think it was well done. Basically: Go get your fricking texts by asking each and every one of my contacts whether you can intrude into their personal lives - like your doing to me. That was a big "F*ck You!" to the league.

Roger did not have time for that. It was crazy to think the NFL would do that. I mean all they had to do was look for guys who work with the Patriots and go from there. No need to interview everyone on that list. I mean you want to talk to the Pizza joint down the street, go for it.

Brady's team offered to Identify every contact on his text list so they could narrow it down. Of course the league would then have ASK to intrude into someone else's private affairs. I have a strong suspicion that's what this is all about - and Employer delving into the personal life and personal property of an Employee. And the Employee saying: I will not provide personal details (without my contact's consent) and if you want it, you're going to have to ask permission from each one of them.

If that's the case - it actually might be an interesting play.

Bottom line, we have only bits and pieces of info at this point. Does it look bad for Brady? Yes. Could he have a good reason? Very possibly..

I don't facebook, so I cannot read straight from there but a link on USA Today...

Tom Brady rips the NFLs Deflategate decision on his Facebook page | For The Win

Brady says his phone was broken, he got a new one and destroyed the old one only AFTER informing the legue and Wells and offering to help in any way.

I still support him.
He's too smart too have pulled a retard mistake like that.

 I knew Goofdell was a fucking ass but I thought he maybe had some decency. I was wrong..coming out and misleading everyone about the phone shows just what a mother fucking loser the guy is. I hope he gets buried in court.

... and Kraft is realizing now, that man is not your friend, he's your f*cking enemy. You know what they say, "keep your friend close and your enemies closer". That's what Goodell did to Kraft.

Well the second salvo of litigation is under way - the NFLPA just filed in Minnesota.

We all said Kraft was foolish for just accepting the spanking Goofdell gave him. Sure did come back to bite him in the ass. I'd love to know what Jonathan said to Bob.

Providing the texts still on your phone proves nothing. You simply delete what you want and provide the rest and without the phone and sim nobody can dig up deleted texts. Which is why Brady destroyed his phone obviously.

Of course you think that...LOL.

That is why Brady told the NFL they can contact anyone on the list and look through their phones. Why is so hard to think that possible, possible there are no text messages? I also think that there were only 28 people on that list that were football people. Hate really makes people one sided....

I cannot wait for that Colts game. I don't know which one of our RB's will run for 250 yards but it's going to be one of them. Hilarious if it's one of the newbies that nobody has ever heard of.

I still believe that Kessler has the phone. How else would thay have been able to turn over the names of everyone that Brady exchanged texts with? That Brady outright told the NFL that he was not going to give them his phone before Wells interviewed him. When Wells asked for the phone Brady told him no.......oh yeah, that was in the second interview, Wells never mentioned the phone in the first interview. OOpps I forgot to ask about the phone the first time.

Now Goodell has really pissed off Robert Kraft. The guy who got him his $45M a year job. The guys who along with his son Johnathan was able to sit down and hammer out a CBA with the NFLPA. The guy who along with his son Johnathan helped put together the largest television contract in the history of sports and broadcasting. The guy who yesterday pretty much said that nothing is sacred for this day forward. Now the owners have to be a bit concerned, because anything that comes before the ownership council, which Kraft is a senior member, just might get leaked to the media. No more covering up for owners who deal drugs, get arrested for child molestation or try to pull off a scam with investors.

No hate on my part at all. Tell me how does one know the list is complete without the phone?

Good point Harold, I have no clue. How do you know it's not? LOL...we can go back or forth all day. Thing is, Wells said he didn't need the phone and that he had all the info he needed. Now it's an issue. Wells stated that Brady and the Patriots (cleared them in any wrong doing) cooperated and answered every question he had, now they were not cooperative. Brady told Wells days before the interview that he was not getting the phone, Wells was fine with that, so he destroyed his phone. Look, it was a stupid move on Brady's part to destroy it, he should have known better, but I guess when you are told "we don't need the phone" then you assume it's all good to do it.

IDK anymore, I just want my FF drafts to start...HA!

Fact is, Wells told them he did not need the phone and he had plenty and it should not hinder his case, now the phone is a big deal? I am almost positive the phone is destroyed, I thought TB said it himself. I mean his assistant could still have it, IDK.

Kraft is pissed, but he won't do anything. Love how the owners came out and defended Rog. Jones telling NE to take their medicine? Really Jerry...NE was cleared from any wrong doing, you were not with the salary cap issue. NE is being punished for not allowing a 5th interview and spygate. You fucked up the salary cap and were fined....Last time I checked NE has taken their "medicine" twice now. However keep signing those scumbags....

Could be Blount if BB lets him play. He showed up to camp at 250 lbs and failed the conditioning test. Hope he's just fighting a cold and couldn't run.

Smoking too many blunts is more likely.
