I heard on the radio today that Marchand almost didn't get his day with the Cup thanks to Irene. It was on Prince Edward Island yesterday for Adam McQuaid. The bridge was closed to oversized vehicles (which is what Marchand, some of his family and friends, were travelling in to get the Cup to Nova Scotia) because of some high winds that are still lingering. They ended up having to take a bunch of cabs across the bridge then rented a larger vehicle once they got across.
