Regardless of what the Tigers did, they still have the biggest liability of all!! Brad Ausmus! This guy walked into one of the most talented teams I've seen in a long time last year, and mis-management cost them a World Series. Just my opinion, but to get killed the way they did, unacceptable. Brad's management of pitchers was, and continues to baffle the mind!

Kirk Gibson made a good point about Ausmus' handling of the bullpen and determining roles -- stating that it's difficult to bring in relievers for the "role" you'd like them in when they are racking up so many innings due to poor outings by the starters. You're pretty much stuck calling in the arms that are the least tired, regardless of the desired role for that reliever.
