He's not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Et tu? Nobody wants to be an adult here? I expect it from the clowns, but you?

Tell me, do you really think you can determine who's been the best conference from the limited data in this thread? Really? Make a case for me.

So it this list compiled with current affiliation or affiliation at the time the games were played? All the conference jumping lately is why I ask because it would give different results...

The Big West should tip you off to this.

Don't really follow the smaller conferences so...anyway wouldn't it just be easier to answer the question? Oh well, I'll take it for it shows, the Big 12 has sucked in bowl games. Barely above .500 is a bad showing for a supposedly strong conference.

Why don't you just can the whole argument already? There is no way you or anyone else can prove who the best conference is from a bunch of stats, whether in this thread or any other. A valid argument could be made for any of the major conferences. Just depends on what stats you want to cherry pick, that's all.

When you get right down to it, it is all just a matter of opinion and that's all it is.

What argument? I dropped it a long time ago. The third grader picked it up, in case you missed it. Then you did. I thought you were above such things.

BTW, you agreed with me here. I'm not the one who said who was the best or worse conference, that was the third grader. I asked them to make that point and basically they refused.

C'mon, man, I had posted that crap about the ACC being the best conference tongue-in-cheek. Just because we won a couple of BCS games doesn't mean we have the best conference, surely everyone knows that. I posted that to help show that even a lame argument can be made to say the ACC is better than the SEC, which it isn't, not yet.

Anyway, all I said is that you aren't the smartest guy on here. I didn't say you were stupid or anything like that.

Do I know you from some other board? Your style seems familiar. :noidea:

Oh yeah, your comment was very polite. Sorry I missed that.

You seemed to missed that you agree with me.

At first this was confusing, but then it dawned on me that to someone of low intelligence, it might appear I care what the Big Ten was ranked by people. However, my object was, has been, and still is that people draw conclusions based on very limited information. It would be like Vanderbilt fans claiming their program has been greater than Texas because they lead the all-time series. Making conclusions on limited information leads to incorrect conclusions. What's even more alarming is that people are unaware of how limited the information is that the conclusions were drawn on.

As long as I can still remember tOSU whooping Oregon in the Rose Bowl, that matters not.

For some reason, that Clemson win in the Orange Bowl keeps sticking out in my mind. :yahoo:
