It's safe to say that the Big 10 was the worst conference during the BCS era.

The Big East was always dismissed as the worst BCS league....

Yet, they routinely smacked the anointed best SEC around like nobody else did.

Essentially, proving that conference homerism is a waste of time and a circular argument.

No conference has ever won a single bowl game.

Such a simple thing to understand how vacated games worked, yet you did when so many are either incapable. For that I salute you.

Did you even look at post #1

I did, I wrote it.

So, looking at a small percentage of the games, no SOS measurement at all, no breakdown what-so-ever, it's "clear" to you? Okay.

Lol, I guess who did read it then. Here's my reason for stating that the Big 10 was the worst.

Out of the 6 Major Conferences (SEC, ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big 10 and the PAC)

Paragraph 1 - they finished 6th

Paragraph 2 - they finished 6th

Paragraph 3 - they finished 5th

Paragraph 4 - they finished 6th

Paragraph 5 - they finished 4th

Paragraph 6 - they finished 6th

That's an average of 5.5 place

---------------------------------------------11

SEC averaged 1.5 place finish

Big East averaged 2.0 place finish

PAC 12 averaged a 2.8 place finish

Big 12 averaged 4.0 place finish

ACC averaged 5.3 place finish

Big 10 averaged 5.5 place finish

That's why I said the Big 10 was the worst.

I think it was clear to everyone beforehand. Your list just justified it.

When that "small percentage" is a compilation list of all bowl games played, broken down by wins, losses and wining percentage then yes I would call that a clear standard to look at. Bowl games have always been a way of measuring how good or bad conferences are as a whole and your outstanding list you put together is an excellent measuring stick.

Well go ahead and pull up B1G vs the PAC in the regular season in the BCS era then. More of the same.

#1 head to head records tell little on their own.
#2 The PAC was far better than the Big Ten over that period.

Why you would think either would support your overall claim would be a mystery to me.
