Boston bid for 2024 Olympics 'a strong one', head of IOC says - ESPN Boston
IOC President : "Bostonians are well known for their enthusiasm for sport and the city has a great heritage in sport, science and education."
This will be expensive, but I think its over already. They can argue that this olympics is modern day athens. City of champions, region where baseball, football and basketball was born.
They will talk about how Boston culture's obsession on sport is ingrained in every nook and corner, and they will frost it with the great Marathon and Boston Strong.
Word is that each university would get upgrades in their facilities. The argument to place the world sports hall of fame in Boston, what the IOC desires, may happen too.
