I think what we may be seeing here is the slow media assassination when a networks employees en masse discovers (probably away from the cameras) what kind of douche a person really is ... And the requisite coverage of that person which follows

Example: the way tsn covered the canucks in 2011 after a night of douchebaggery at dinner with mike gillis
