As much as I hate Subban, that fucker played a great game. Always in the right place at the right time. But we beat ourselves in that game, we played the better game overall but couldn't hit the fucking net.

Kind of pathetic, but still plenty of hockey left.

But as much as Boston fans dislike Subban, you have to give his father some credit for having a good sense of humor.

As he and his family were heading into the TD Garden for Thursday’s Game 1 between the Bruins and Canadiens, Karl Subban saw the “Canadien Dive Team” t-shirts being sold outside. It’s no secret that the Habs have a knack for hitting the ice as they try to draw penalties. Subban is offender No. 1 among Bruins’ fans, and fittingly, his No. 76 graces the back of the shirt.

When Karl saw the shirt mocking his son, he didn’t get upset. Instead he had a nice laugh, and picked one up.

“I saw this shirt and I looked closely. I saw ‘76’ and I read it and I saw what it said. My wife laughed. My son Malcolm is here and he laughed, too,” the elder Subban told the Montreal Gazette.

“So I said ‘I better buy one.’ I know the fans here are having fun. And I want to have some fun with it, too,” said Subban. “Really that’s all it’s about. It’s about having fun.”
