And what also hurts is coaches from other teams telling recruits who may be leaning towards Nebraska that if they come here, the most success they'll see is 9 win seasons, and going to minor bowls. Of course I bet they also mention the numerous blowouts they will have to endure annually also.

Unless another QB steps up that is more consistent, there isn't much reason to be optimistic past 8 or 9 wins.

On the other hand, if the turnover problem can be close to eliminated, I can see a 10 or 11 win season looming in 2014.

It may be, but did you notice that I also said eliminating turnovers would allow Nebraska to have a lot of success even with TA at QB?

Okay asshole, I'm going to be negative and truthful again... TA isn't a consistent enough passer to allow Nebraska to have a truly great season and not only that, I don't understand what people are seeing in the 2014 schedule that would lead them to believe Nebraska won't have at least 4 losses and possibly 5 losses.

One more thing, Nebraska has had some really good receivers who were stymied by QBs who were so inconsistent at passing the last few years. Their talent could not be utilized at a high enough level, and unless a QB is thrown into the mix who is a couple of levels higher, we won't see the results we really want to see.

Exorbitant, I agree with you on TAs passing skill or lack thereof. Kellogg did far better and he had the same makeshift OL. And until we get coaches that know what they are doing I don't see any better that 9-4 either. This staff has shown no ability to take talent at any level and make it better.

Evidently we saw TM at 70% against UCLA and Minny. How did those games work out for us?
