Exorbitant, I agree with you on TAs passing skill or lack thereof. Kellogg did far better and he had the same makeshift OL. And until we get coaches that know what they are doing I don't see any better that 9-4 either. This staff has shown no ability to take talent at any level and make it better.

Bo refuses to get rid of even the most inept assistant coach, our special teams coach, so we most likely won't see anything better than 9 wins in a season.

You are the most not picky sob. Are we talking about TA. Or Martinez. And TM hasnt been 100 since his freshman year

I was trying to smarten you up about how even when our line was in better shape with a better QB we still saw the same results pretty much. Try taking those rose colored glasses off.

None of us should be surprised if we see 5 losses before the bowl game in 2014.

You don't know what you're talking about by the way. The Special Teams has a coordinator but it is coached by the other assistants as well...

Open your eyes and you'll see that numerous people here have stated the same thing about Nebraska having a special teams coach. I do realize though that we were amazing on the return game especially in 2013! WOW! I guess Nebraska doesn't need any revamping in special teams in the future. :L

One could just as easily say the same thing for Nebraska only losing 2 games.

I can honestly say I would not be shocked if we lost 2 games. I would be literally in shock if we lost 5.......with the guys we have returning......the leadership......

A more difficult schedule isn't going to change anything. One of these seasons it is going to come together.....might as well be the season that Ameer returns and we return a Front 7 that was coming on strong.

I actually do agree with you here. Turnovers will be critical though. If those can be kept to a bare minimum, we may enjoy a really good season.

What are those options? Fat ass RK3 or a freshman ta. I would still take a 70% TM.

don't need a stud qb if you have a talented WRs n rbs and decent OL. why do we act like all of sudden it's 09 offense.

let me ask you how good is Nick Marshall qb wise. ..yet auburn made a run.

seriously our WR crop is nasty and we had a mighty mouse rb with great back ups.

Oh, so you thought TM looked good at 70%? Whatever!

No I didn't think he looked good at 70% but i would rather have a 70% TM the a 100% RK b.c taylor is a better athelete and can still some wjat scramble and make plays RK would have lost us a lot of games. TA played lije a freshman at times but he still has much better arm and legs then RK. and as far as TA and a 70% TM. Its a real toss up but now that i think about it i would take tommy.

We need revamping but Els has little to do with it, if you can't tell that then you're a moron. The problem is with the fact that we call punt-safe way too much and that for some reason involves not blocking anyone... pretty sure that's Bo's call. Believe it or not our kick and punt coverage units have been some of the best in the B1G the past two seasons (especially last year) and actually was pretty good at Kick Return last season. Punt return was abysmal, but that had more to do with how our head coach chose to play it than how Els was "coaching it" (and he's not the Special Teams "coach" he helps coordinate the special teams with Fisher, Garrison and others). But let's not let facts get in the way of a good argument.

Right and at the beginning of the year everyone was "healthy" o-line qb wrs then the injurys happen to all of those units and the wheels fell off in minnesota. But the team that was put together with gum and duct tape found a way to win 9 games. Or lose 4 games if you are a glass half empty kind of person.

First of all you dumb fuck, Iowa beat Nebraska by 21 fucking points in Lincoln OUR HOME FIELD by the way. Secondly, throw those fucking rose colored glasses away or stick them up your ass, and take another look at the 2014 schedule. I'm not sure how much Fresno has coming back, but they certainly are capable of beating Nebraska the way Bo prepares our team, and that game is on their home field. Miami may be better than Minnesota, you remember that powerhouse team that whooped Nebraska up in Minnesota? MSU BLEW Nebraska out in Lincoln, and we're playing them in East Lansing, and I believe they'll be good again. A struggling Northwestern team was within a hailmary of beating Nebraska in Lincoln. Last but not least, Do you recall what happened to Nebraska the last time we played Wiscy in Madison? There actually 6 teams here that could easily beat an unprepared team like the ones we have seen continually from Bo.

If you're going to call me a moron you dumb shit, you may want to call quite a few other posters here that same name because I'm not the only one that blamed our special teams coach. I never did mention his name though.

Also, I did notice that our punt coverage, punting, FG kicking, and extra point kicking has been good, and our punt return game has been bad. Again, I'm the only one you have bashed for mentioning our special teams coach. If you're just going to get on MY ass only for what numerous other posters have said, then you can bite me!

Actually I would take TA too over an unhealthy Taylor.

So your 6 are Iowa, Fresno, Miami, MSU, Northwestern, and Wisconsin? I never said it is not possible to lose 5. However, that's not what you said. You said we should not be surprised if we lose 5. There's a difference between being realistic and just being negative for the sake of being negative. I'm pretty sure if we lost 5 of those games it would come as a pretty big shock to everyone, both in Nebraska and nationally.

I guess I should consider the source...You are probably surprised that "Mad Dog Bo" hasn't gotten busted killing puppies or small children yet.

Are you fucking mental? Tommy has a way better arm then rk
-------
Don't argue one bit about the arm BUT seeing who is open is more important IMO. Looking at the whole of your receivers IMO. Keeping cool under presuure with your passing game is more important IMO. TA may be able to thow the ball 70 yards but his YPG doesn't cut it, his completion % doesn't cut it, and this TD to ints doesn't cut it. Yes, I know he's a relative rookie, BUT that's a lot of crap he has to straighten out. I hope Bo throws open the competition for the starter because I just am not completely sold on TA.
When TO threw Frazier to the wolves, I saw fewer problems than with TA.
