I don't think it's a matter of looking down it. It's a matter of not agreeing with the lifestyle, but accepting that there are people that indeed live that lifestyle. We can't force everybody to live the way we want them to. At least not yet, though progressives are trying.

I am not trying to convert anyone, i am just saying that you(general you) can claim to be tolerant, but if you dont agree with their lifestyle then you cant be entirely accepting...

Its like a christian who believes a jew is going to hell, they can accept jews, but they still think that there is something wrong with them... therefore they can never fully accept them...

And if you cant fully accept then you are at least slightly intolerant...

I think the word tolerant is more fitting than accept is. I can tolerate it as long as it's not thrown in my face, no pun intended. If there is a gay couple around me and they are just minding their own business like everyone else, I have no problem with them. It's the in-your-face, flaming type, that I can't tolerate.

And I don't think he would and I don't think I suggested him and the NFL would do it right away. I think with other players coming out from leagues just as big, the multiple news stories of a possible NFL player coming out that they would do it eventually.
