Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he’s not gay and ‘I really, really like women’

There are a lot of subjects Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers probably expected to talk about prior to his team's playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

His sexual orientation was probably not on that list.

However, that was a topic of conversation during his "Tuesdays with Aaron" radio show with host Jason Wilde on 540 ESPN Wisconsin.

During their 49-minute show, Wilde asked Rodgers about the negative aspects of being a celebrity. Rodgers talked about how hard it was to always be “on” for fans, and explained why he did not like taking pictures while eating. He then addressed recent Internet rumors about him being gay, a subject Rodgers raised without being asked.

“I’m just going to say I’m not gay,” Rodgers said. “I really, really like women. That’s all I can say about that.”

Really? It's like finding out someone is a drunk or drug addict or a wife beater. You can claim that it's not your business but once you know....you think less of them. I not going to believe a word of this report until it's proven, but if it turns out true...it's going to color what I think of him. Not as a QB, because he's flat good, but as someone I root for? It really doesn't matter what Rodgers or any athlete for that matter does in his personal life. Staying healthy and playing at an MVP level is my concern.... Beyond that he could be blowing dudes in the parking lot after the game for all I care.
