Who knows if it is true or not. And Rodgers addressing it means nothing. He could be telling the truth because he is not gay, or he could be lying because he doesn't want people to know now or even in the future that he is gay. But he is not going to admit that now on a public radio show. If he is gay and comes out, it would be on his own terms.

Packers fans are getting awfully defensive by all this. Saying that Rodgers is the "best player in football" and "if he was gay what does that say about your football team?" That is implying that you think it is a sign of futility that a someone would be gay and if that person was to be better than another person at something, it would look bad on the non-gay person. Pathetic. Furthermore, it is laughable to say that anyone other than Peyton Manning is the best player in the NFL. They had one of the worst statistical offenses before he got there and now they have statistically the greatest offense of all time.

The Packers fans I know in real life (and I know several living in Northern Illinois because they grew up in Wisconsin and got better job opportunities near Chicago) are not this damn arrogant and obnoxious. You can start by not thinking it is wrong to be gay, and then follow that up by not thinking your best player is God, and then finally top that off by not thinking your team is the best thing since sliced bread now or even when healthy because for one, lots of teams had more important injuries and had better years and two, your current team got lucky to beat a pathetic Chicago defense.
