If I remember correctly, Kobe was 2nd and Lin was 4th last season in western conference guard votes.

Kobe has earned the right to get unfairly voted as an ASG starter... Lin, not so much. He shouldn't even sniff the ASG itself unless he's showing up as a ball boy.

Unfortunately the voting system allows for undeserving starters. With the added push from the Lakers fans votes, Lin just might be there.

don't think the Asian community will hesitate one second to log votes for Lin - being that the Lakers are a much more popular brand globally than most other NBA teams it should be a cakewalk.
