Depends on the system, but I think Henne is more talented running a pro-style offense than Barrett is running Ohio State's version of the spread. And the NFL people would back up my claim.

And wow, big shock he has better stats running the offense he does. He threw 24 TD's last year and couldn't have been more average(35th in total QBR).

Henne was way more talented. Dude could throw and had a decent record for Michigan. No one said he was a great NFL QB, but JT won't be shit at the next level either.

I've gone on record as saying I don't know that JT is even the best QB on our roster, but a LOT of the problem last year was due to:
A. OSU was the most inexperienced team in the entire NCAA
B. Our offensive coordinator was a fucking moron. Wilson will make a huge difference.

Henne was a good college QB and ultimately wasn't the reason they came up short on the ultimate success. It was usually the secondary and right side of the offensive line that failed them those seasons. Morgan Trent was a fucking tire fire.

He was completely 1-dimensional, unlike Barrett. Look what he did as a RS Freshman when he was thrust into the starting role a week before the season. He went on to break records and had a phenomenal year. In college, Barrett is simply a better QB, and his numbers back that up.
