so slow ass Whit will be at LT and that will be sufficient for 2014! We take LT in round 1 in 2015! HANDS DOWN! Newhouse WILL NOT start but will be the back up to Whit in the event he gets hurt which is HIGHLY LIKELY![/quote

See Whitworth destroy thread and ask yourself if Whit's ass is really that slow for an LT.

If he "sees" better than he hears, then he must be a deaf mofo, because what he sees doesn't match up to what anyone else who is paid to grade how players play. To each their own, though. :)

Personally, I think he's taking this out on Whit, the fact that Collins was allowed to walk.

I'm pissed about that, too. The best line at the end of last season had Whit at LG and Collins at LT, but that was because the other LG's didn't match up to the quality of Collins at LT. Whit was still the better LT, and there was no way Collins was going to get LT money while Whit was still getting it. Still a pisser, because center was the only position that needed shored up until they failed to keep Collins. Either Pollak or Boling are ok at LG. No more, no less.

Yep. You are right. The best line was with Whit at LG, and as you stated, that is just because AC at LT was an upgrade over everyone else at LG when Whit is at LT.

That being said, you are correct again, the Bengals weren't going to pay AC when they were already paying Whit, who is still the better LT.

I think LG is servicable. No better or worse. What we need to hope is that Robinson really improves this year, or the kid out of UNC can bring it, and upgrade the Center position. The interior running game starts, really, with the Center getting off the ball and making that first block. If the center improves, the LG will improve a bit just by default. At least, that is the hope.
