There is another drive to the basket without a single obstruction. The boobcats have 20 points in the paint already. In other news, this is a week-end of saying good-byes on a number of stories.

One story I am glad to see go and that is David Stern's last day is this week-end. That SOB cost the Lakers another pretty good chance at a championship when he single-handedly stopped the CP-3 trade. He set in motion a tumble into obscurity that we are slowly working out of no thanks that bastard.

Still another sad story is this will be the first All-Star game without one Laker in it since 1990 because Kobe has declined his selection due to injury this year. It is the sign of things to come as we approach the time when Kobe will actually retire and that day is coming.

When I watch other crappy teams, I quite often see many of the stadium seats to be empty. Not so with the Lakers. I look out and see a lot of the seats filled here and I am proud of my fan brethern and sisters that support this team when they suck this bad. It is good to be a lifelong Lakers fan!!
