After all that's happened would Nash happily play in Columbus next season? I have a hard time believing Nash & Howson can co-exsist at this point.

Yes. Howson is an ass, but Nash likes it here. When they traded Carter (mostly at a lot of players' request), Richards threw down the gauntlet and told all the players to "prove you want to be here". Nash lead the team in goals, assists, +/- and Ice time from then on.

He never said "trade me". He said if they were going to rebuild and trading him would accomplish the goal, he'd accept trades to certain teams. No one in the front offices is talking rebuild anymore. Howson blew it with the media, but deep down no one really wants Nash traded. Particularly not Nash.

He stayed here in Columbus in the offseason and has been working out with teammates at the Arena. Not exactly the actions of a guy who wants out. He's supposedly going to be at the Draft Party at the Arena tonight with Wiz, Johnson, Prospal, Atkinson and Umberger. Could be an awkward spot to be in if he thinks he's getting dealt...
