FORKWDEVIL
shut up and make me a sandwich
Glad we made up our mind! I think he has some passion. We will see.
He offers 3/4 things:Decent hire, but most of his connections are in the East Coast. He could have trouble recruiting out West. Either way, it's probably an upgrade over Herb.
Much better reply than AZDipshitDback!Heard this. Good for Sparky, I think it'll definitely help. He's young, has a name, and an exciting style. It'll be interesting to see what he will do.
Miller didn't have any west connections before he got to AZ, so I don't know if that'll be as much of a challenge as just having to compete for recruits against Miller, Alford, etc.
He might surprise with who he gets to spend their winters in Tempe.
I am ok with that. Let him prove himself for the next big name coach to fit in.I have a feeling this job will just be a stepping stone for him, as soon as he has a good year there he'll bolt for something bigger. I say 3 years max.
who wants to place a bet with me that Bobby does better than Herb? i mean Herb rode the coat tails of James Harden. Bobby Hurley probably be in the top 3 best winning % coaches in ASU History. Ned Wulk, Bobby Hurley.....so on. Eat your heart of Tucson.View attachment 14679
