Bowden suggested a weekly TV show airing their debate.

Not necessarily but on face value it would seem so. Unless the proceedings and voting were recorded and made public I don't trust a small number of people with incentives to vote a certain way to make this happen.

You've seen polls man. People are stupid. The only way to overcome the stupidity and agendas by the few is to have so many people that the dumb votes get averaged out.

But I think the committee debating the prospects on a TV show would be a HUGE hit... You can't tell me that you would not tune in to see what everyone was saying and if they were selecting inappropriate teams, I think the transparency would be there.
