Blake Griffin Vs Dwight Howard Thread

Just looking at the stats, both players are close enough to being the same, but If I went by how both played last year, I would say Griffin was better and played better defense. Not to say that won't happen again, but I still think Dwight is not quite as good as Griffin.

It'll be interesting to see how they play this season - they're in different situations - Blake has a great PG in CP3 while Dwight's sidekick is more of a shooter in James Harden - we'll see how Dwight and James Harden mesh

Dwight all day, better on offense and defense. They both need a post game, and both are limited offensively but Dwight is less limited on offense imo. We'll see what happens this year though

I picked Griffin as one of my early picks for my fantasy team while the others were fighting for the remains in the guards, I was picking off some nice forwards that should be reliable for points-rebounds-assists. I really don't care who wins among them but was offered Dwight Howard for Griffin. Problem is it would leave me short in the Forwards, so I think Im going to remain as I am

I don't have a choice - I was going to reject the trade offer from someone that gave them my other forward I was going to start and instead hit the fuckin accept - Now I if I trade a forward I would be short. So while everyone was grabbing the guards, I was grabbing the forwards, so we will see if that was good strategy - if works then we will know it was worth it. I am hoping that Bynumb turns out to be a player.

I can tell you it won't work... The reason why people go pg guards first is because the get high assists to go with points... So Rubio averaged only 10ppg last year or so but 7asts... That's 14 plus the 10 so he's at 24 already... Only Lebron gets pg asts which is why he's the #1 pick... Forwards score and/or rebound like centers which is why pretty much high scoring guys get snatched first (Durant) then the scoring rebounders (Love)... You or going to have a rough time as you have SGs I believe which if they start scoring less they lose value, a pg can score and pass when needed... And again you only have room to play 5 at the most per position... You have 5 starting Forwards you have weak guards but your Center is outrageous... Look at Kaman or Biyombo... Not much out there... Not sure if Zeller will become Forward eligible because we're in a free league so I might be willing to move him... He'll be a 15ppg 10rpg guy I'm sure... But I want to wait to see if he becomes eligible first...

Right now Howard but I think Griffin has the potential to surpass him as a better all around player. We will see in 2 years

Griffen played nowhere near as good of defense as Dwight. Howard is way better at interior defense not even close. Blake Griffen is so overrated
