The off-field issues of suspended Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon continued over the weekend in Oklahoma, where Blackmon was charged with DUI, according to the Carter (Oklahoma) County Sheriff's Office website.

Although details of the arrest aren't available yet, the Sheriff's Office did note that Blackmon was taken into custody at 5:45 a.m. ET.

Blackmon has been arrested three times since April 2012, when the Jaguars made him the fifth overall pick in the NFL Draft. Blackmon was also arrested once while in college at Oklahoma State.

In June 2012, just two months after the NFL Draft, Blackmon was arrested and charged foraggravated DUI, a charge he eventually pleaded guilty to. That charge led to his first NFL suspension.

The wide receiver's most recent DUI arrest comes less than 18 months after Blackmon was charged with marijuana possession following a July 2014 arrest in Oklahoma.

Blackmon hasn't played for the Jaguars since being suspended indefinitely following Week 8 of the 2013 season. However, Blackmon is still technically part of the team thanks to his spot on the reserve/suspended list.

Being on that list means that there's no risk involved for the Jaguars. The team doesn't owe Blackmon any money while he's suspended and he won't take up a roster spot. However, if he somehow does make it back to the NFL, then the Jaguars will still own his rights.

A return to the NFL for Blackmon is highly unlikely, though, something that Jaguars general manager David Caldwell admitted in August.

"I have not heard anything and I guess I harbor a little bit of hope but realistically I think when you're away from the game for two-and-a-half years what you were once is not what you probably will be," Caldwell said. "Your skills do erode and especially if you're not staying in tip-top shape and you're not in football shape."

In 20 career games with Jacksonville, Blackmon totaled 93 receptions for 1,280 yards and six touchdowns.

remember we got lucky. the only reason why we didn't get him was because the Jags jumped over us to get him. I remember Fisher was pissed!! we traded back and got Brockers so it worked out great.
