Must be a sign that a Chris Paul trade is coming.

I'd understand firing him last year, but he actually did well this year. But this from Woj indicates that its more a money issue and that OKC is looking to do things on the cheap. Wouldn't be shocked if they try to offload Paul and Adams this offseason.

Also, in another tweet, Woj said Chicago has a lot of interest in Donovan

He's really more of a college guy.

Sure he'll get an offer easy tho...

No question this is a signal that Paul, Adams and Galinari are gone.

Yeah, OKC has a nice team. But "nice team" only gets you so far in the playoffs. With CP3 getting old and being expensive, they're not really going to get better. Probably best to decide which younger, cheaper players they want to keep, move the rest and rebuild.

Well the key thing is that both sides have agreed to not extend so he probably doesn't want to be apart of any kind of rebuild and wants to take control of a contending team with a star player or a bigger market. The Bulls have a head coach opening, the Pelicans have an opening I would imagine coaching Zion would be a dream opportunity, there is a vacancy with the sixers.

I think he wants to coach in another situation I believe Chris Paul will go elsewhere as a free agent and if he stays trying to coach a bunch of young players it could hurt his value. Better to avoid that while he is coming off a great year and using that momentum elsewhere.

There is also the opportunity to go back to college if some school like UCLA shells out a ton of cash than that's even better for him.

They took a shot this year but with all those picks they are going to do a true rebuild now.
