How is Gainsville holding up?

Not directly hit but hotels are full of evacuees and it is where the first responders are based preparing to go into the heavily hit areas as soon as Matthew passes.

Didn't think of that. Every hotel room in the state is full from east coasters headin' out. It would be a douche move to give 40k of them the boot for UF area hotels that are all book a year in advance.

Both need to work together to make this happen. Unfortunately that's not happening due to stubbornness.

Just a game that the fans miss out on. SEC needs to get together and get rules set up for stuff like this in the future especially considering where many of their schools are located. The fact that they didn't lay down the law on this is lame.

Now, I like you, so I'll be Devil's advocate on this one.

So why would Nov 19th be fair for LSU when it's sandwiched between Arkansas and A&M? Do you think the game should just be cancelled?
we play Uga in jax Scar at home and @ arkansas as well same difference

Not surprised that the gators cancelled this game. They've always been scared of Hurricanes.

Where did you get the idea UF won't play Dec 3?

UF proposed playing Nov 19th.

UF can't play Sunday because there are no state personnel available.

Looks like the biggest douche here is you.

Miami and FSU are playing and there won't be a police presence.

South Carolina and Georgia rescheduled their games for Sunday. So what does having state personnel have to do with anything?

Foley as usual looks like a giant puss. He comes out with all of the bull shit and LSU's AD says he wasn't even contacted by Florida. Typical gator.

It'll cost LSU $1.5 million dollars to buy out South Alabama for their game - I can see why LSU's very hesitant in doing that.

No it won't ..they have a lost game insurance policy which will pay for the buyout

A&M is on Thanksgiving as well, so the short week makes it even worse.

Not sure why the Gator fans are being so snippy in this thread.
