Since a lot of us are in a feisty mood this morning, Who has been a bigger disappointment/choker in the playoffs since 2006, the Washington Capitals or San Jose Sharks?
Describe why you feel the way you do.
My answer, very close to a tie, but got to hand it to the Sharks.
My reasoning? Joe Thornton, Evgeni Nabokov and Patrick Marleau are much older than Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom and Green. Those guys still have a lot they can learn and grow from.
The only reason why I have it as close is because I believe that since 2006, it's been tougher sledding making it through the playoffs in the WC. I mean the Anaheim Ducks (with Getzlaf, Perry, Ryan, Pronger and Niedermeyer) as an 8th seed? Really??? They also both have really embarrassing playoff exits to Montreal and the Oilers.
What say you?
