Texas still likely gets in

They have about 4 of these complete chokejob meltdowns late all season to good teams.
They had Ku, OSU, and ISU beaten....and found ways to lose.

The committee looks for teams that can compete with other tourney teams.
Texas can do that, they just dont close well in crunch time.

They seemingly always choke away winnable games vs good teams, but they dont have any bad losses to bad team. A 2 pt loss to Stanford is the worst loss of the season.

With Illinois and A&M gacking versus horrible teams, the bubble is pretty soft.
The Horns should be okay as long as the rest of the bubble teams keep losing as well.

Still, TEXAS (if they get in) could be arguably the most dangerous double digit seeded team to face.
Sort of a much lesser version of the #9 seeded UK last year.....unbelievable NBA talent with ultra stupidity.

They can play with anyone because the NCAA tournament style of playing unfamiliar teams helps them.

The Big 12 teams, coaches, and players are very used to the massive size and athleticism of Texas........it doesnt bother them as they play all the time versus these guys from AAU on up.

Teams unfamiliar with the BIg 12 will have a little more difficulty when they see the size for the first time.
Of course, they are just as likely to brainfart their way to an NIT first round home loss.

I thought Baylor had a decent chance coming into today. But it's life in the Big12, a foregone conclusion that Kansas' players will be solid, Kansas coaching will be solid, and they'll win in the end.
