If you believed him...then that's your fault. Not his.

You're such a martyr these days..... I think most of us realize that we are idiots for rooting for this franchise. Doesn't mean it's wrong to complain about it or point out the hypocrisy of their actions.

But I appreciate your posts, so I gave you a rainbow.

The SportsHoopla is a wonderful place.

Thanks. I appreciate the gayness. Maybe we can all hold hands and sing around the campfire.

On a serious note. I'm just not surprised. As Marvin always says, I see better than I hear. I hear about them spending money and being a player in F/A, but I just don't believe it until I see it. History shows, he's full of shit. What he considers a big splash is not what everyone else is thinking of.

That being said, I did like the boling signing, and Hawk is a decent backup (I don't expect him to start).

Fairley would have been nice, but I'm not sold on him. While Atkins, when healthy, could have rivaled Suh, he's not, and he hasn't shown yet he will be. Dumping more $$$ on another DT who hasn't shown he, himself, can stay healthy wouldn't be wise, IMO. But I digress.

Your not wrong. Not sure what you want everyone on this board to do though? If it weren't for the comedic therapy and bitching, SportsHoopla would be the same as the Hobson board, or the Facebook page. Nothing but sheep and mouth breathers.

I honestly believe the Bengals consider keeping Maualuga and Boling as "making a splash" in FA. Boling should have been a no brainer. We are the only team in the NFL who wanted Maualuga.

We easily could've signed both Fairley and MJ for what it's gonna cost for Maualuga, Hawk and Winston. But who wants to upgrade a roster when we can hoard a bunch of useless garbage like a middle aged woman with too many cats.

I'm guessing we have one more surprise left in us..... It's probably Michael Johnson, but it could be Fairley.

I'm mostly guessing this because of Thorton's comments about Johnson last month -- It seemed to me that something has been in the works for a long time, or he wouldn't have mentioned it. AND, how awesome is the Hobs article going to be when Michael Johnson comes back?

Hobbs is the best. Seriously. I wonder how much the Brown family has to pay him to keep writing positive stories like that?

It's not the draft where team's have an incentive to put out smokescreens and misinformation. There was no reason for ML to lie about the team's FA plans
