Who the fuck would that benefit.
That's just a stupid idea when there are great neutral sites right here in the U.S.

Of course it was a Texas idea.

I agree, I don't think many people want to travel to Mexico City anyways no matter if there is a football game or not.

Scott has mentioned going international with the PAC several times now, looks like he means it. Am I reading it correctly, its Texas vs a tbd PAC team for a one time deal? If so, that's fine by me, hope its Arizona and Texas beats the piss out of them :yahoo:,

Why do you give a shit? OU won't be involved. Said it's Texas vs. a Pac 12 school.

why isnt this in the CFB General....?

Great thread.

And yes. I hate this idea. Especially as a season ticket holder. Losing a potential home game to Mexico City rustles my jimmies.

Would rather have the game in Hawaii...not sure what the draw would be by having it in Mexico City. Wonder what the payout will be?

Neither WVU or TTECH will be involved, not sure why this is upsetting people? If anybody should be bothered is us Texas peeps, which it does. That game automatically takes another home game away, as we play OU in Dallas and now possibly Mexico City when they don't even give a shit about football, they care about FUTBOL......

Who is the fucking idiot coming up with this?

Let the NFL spark international interest. This is college football.

This is just dumb as hell.

The Ducks once played in Tokyo in the early 80s.

I hope that is our fans "paying their dues" so we don't have to watch our team play in MXC.

Wait a minute, I thought it was pure genius to play these pay day neutral sight games???? Texas Vs a PAC team in Mexico makes just as much sense as WVU-BYU in DC.

It's not that bad for WVU. Isn't Morgantown like 3 hours away from DC? I would rather watch Texas play a neutral site game 3 hours away, than 18 something hours away in a place where there is a zero advantage in recruiting or anything else that could help out our football program. Such a stupid idea; Patterson's first mistake so far.

18 hours away with no upside in recruiting, that sounds just like our conference schedule...........

Anything different for some of our older fans can not be good. We would give them to you, but then there might be a movement to move the Red River to a home and home! :suds:

MD is a big recruiting area for us so the BYU game at Fed Ex helps and it is not a bad drive from Morgantown. Gives a lot of fans like me a chance to see my team in our backyard.

Mexico City IMO in not the same at all, they are in to futbol, and could care less about football.
