The Lakeshow will not be a contender and probably mediocre.

But, Boston is going to be a 20 win dumpster fire. They will be down in Wizards and Bobcats world.

The Celtics are essentially Rondo and bust. The Lakers have at least some talent and Kobe will probably come back during December if I had to guess. I think the best the Lakers will do is a 7-seed which is pushing. But I certainly feel the Lakers will end up with the better record of the two.

Lakers "should" get the 7th or 8th seed. I dont see the Celtics getting to the playoffs, unless Kelly O is something special.

These two teams are at completely different stages in their development (or lack of in case of Lakers). I still cannot believe they let the best FA leave.

If Rondo stays in LA I can see him sort of being unleashed. He no longer has anyone to pass to with seniority and he likes to create his own shot.

Kobe is coming back from a career ending injury not 10 years ago. Plus LA won't play D, the Celtics will.
