Saban. So good he doesn't even have to be listed as a choice.

j/k, it's Kelly between those 2.

IMO, Muschamp is a victim of the "Peter Principle". He was a excellent defensive coordinator; however being the head coach requires maturity and discipline,...he has neither. He might get by if he hires an excellent offensive coordinator, but there is still that discipline and maturity thing. He allowed Florida to embarrass themselves last year in the bowl game. Losing to Louisville can happen; especially when Bridgewater has that type of a game. My problem is his lack of control over his players during the game and the way they embarrassed themselves and the University of Florida. They showed it again against Georgia. This Florida team has no mental toughness and no sense of playing together. They can play tough for awhile, and then when bad things happen; they lay down. I can handle Florida losing; it's how they act while doing it is what bothers me. I hope the University sees Muschamp for who he is and makes a change before the entire program sinks to a pre-Spurrier level.

Kelly has been carried by the defense. He came in as some awesome offensive genius. It is obvious to me that he isn't. He got lucky with the pike/collarious combo at cincy. He is so fricken full of himself. I can't wait until he is gone. Nd games have been unbearable to watch despite the record

I dislike Kelly because he is a pompous ass, but give him a GOOD QB like EG at ND and the offense is good. With Rees it is anemic at best. Need a good QB in his system for it to be effective. Also the QB needs to be able to move and Rees is weighed down by two 5 ton item. His FEET!

Considering that all things being equal (and they are) both have terrible offenses and good but banged up defenses) I would say Muschamp. He's a defensive guy so it's at least understandable that he would have problems fielding a competent offense. Brian Kelly was supposed to be an offensive guru but his offenses at nd have by and large been mediocre to terrible. Advantage: Muschamp.

I like golston and he has a chance to be a really good qb but the offense was still inept last yr. Kelly is the king of running the ball on 2nd and 10.

Brian Kelly inherited a team that was 16-21 over the previous three years. He is 35-14 with a national title berth.

Will Muschamp inherited a team that was 34-7 over the previous three years with a national title. He is 22-13 with the highlight being a Sugar Bowl loss.

How people are treating this troll thread as serious, I don't understand.

It was inept due to the OL imo. The OL is not very good and hasn't been. As far as play calling you need to have more top WRs than ND currently does. Last year you had Eifert who was a hell of a TE and a mismatch which helped, but your WRs were not that great. Good on go routes, but not much else. Recruiting is the key for ND, but that is going to be difficult on the offensive side of the ball considering what other teams are producing. Get some great OL and WRs and the offense should take off. If not then get rid of him and start anew.

Florida is better as a spread team than whatever offense Muschamp is running.

I think a better comparison would be Brady Hoke and Will Muschamp.......
