Best/Worst of Bowl Schedule

I am kind of surprised so many here seem to think ND vs ISU is a bad game. When i saw the matchup i thought it was one of the 10 best games. People must just be looking at records but ISU is a good team . Vegas has them ranked 23rd ( ND is 15 ) which is why the line is small

People making snap judgments based on labels with which they are not familiar. My guess is that most of the naysayers haven't watched a single Cyclone game this year. When ND watches film, they are going to know they have a tough game coming up. They will be ready. What the fans think, really doesn't matter. Let's Go State!

The problem is recruiting. Possibly the two top receivers in Texas HS's, play in the Dallas area. One, the Gatorade Player of the Year for Texas, is going to Ohio State and the other has committed to Oklahoma. A lot of the top players are going out of state. It's been awhile that either the Horns or the Aggies have challenged for a spot in the playoffs.

Of the major bowls, Penn State vs. Memphis has to be one of the worst. What a terrible opponent to play that means absolutely nothing to win. That has to be a disappointment for PSU fans. Especially when Minnesota gets Auburn, Wisconsin gets Oregon and Michigan gets Alabama....they play...Memphis.

Even though A&M had a spot in one of the early CFP rankings (before they moved the firsts to later in the season) neither one of them have been in the hunt late in the year since Texas lost to Bama the last Colt year.

And considering how much money both schools have thrown at it........

We have a much easier schedule next year, almost Clemson easy, and returning almost all of our team. Should be a better year next year, not sure about playoff contention though.
