No they wouldn't, Tampa Bay still holds the 6th seed.

1. Dallas
2. Seattle
3. Atlanta
4. Detroit
5. New York
6. Tampa Bay

As of right now (including MNF game) this is how the NFC would go.

Wrong Pack hold the tie breaker over TB due to strength of victory. Look it up.

Did you look it up yet? Every single website has GB @ the 6th spot now.

I have to go with Seattle.

Do you know how hard it is to score 5 points ......... total............... for the whole game?????
Yeah but the Seahawks did score 31 points against New England.

Yea I saw the playoff qualifiers on the NFL home page and they had the Pack 7th and Tampa 8th before tonights game and The Skins were #6. With the Skins losing you would think the 2 teams that are 8 - 6 would move up above the 7-5-1 Skins. I looked at how the tie breaker works and the Pack and Bucs were tied from what I could see until the 4th or 5th tie breaker rule.

But yes this is why I wanted the Skins to lose after checking this out earlier today.

I was listening to tonights game on the radio and Boomer was on helping and towards the end of the game he was saying all the Tampa fans will be happy again after they lost last night to Dallas. He was saying all the people in Ybor City will be so happy and I was shaking my head at him. Boomer was not remembering one team in the playoff race won while the others all lost.

Green Bay's wins
Jaguars 2-11
Lions 9-5
Giants 10-4
Bears 3-11
Eagles 5-9
Texans 8-6
Seahawks 9-4-1
Bears 3-11
Overall 49-61-1

Tampa Bay's wins
Falcons 9-5
Panthers 6-8
49ers 1-13
Bears 3-11
Chiefs 10-3
Seahawks 9-4-1
Chargers 5-9
Saints 6-8
Overall 49-61-1

It actually goes to the next tiebreaker which is net SOS, which Green Bay holds barely at .510 to .505.

The thing is though, if Green Bay beats Minnesota and loses to Detroit, SOV could very easily swing back to Tampa depending on how the games finish out.

Seattle needed Homefield more this season than any other

Too many issues for that team on both sides of the ball now, think they can lose on the road to any NFC playoff team

Yea I pretty much agree with this. For Seattle to have any shot of coming out of the NFC, they need to get that 2 seed. I think it's that simple

Packers beat the Seahawks more recently and by a largest margin in the rah rah blah blah Pete Carol era and if the season ended today the Packers would be a playoff team and TB wouldn't.

Bow down to lord Godgers.

It had to be a hard weekend for Sonny as I know the Pack game was on out west as my daughter in Seattle said she was able to watch it. But when that 60 yard pass was complete and the Pack finished 2/3 of the games needed to run the table and now moving into 2cnd place. He will have to get use to saying the 2cnd Place playoff qualifying Packers for now and with a winning record actually as he cant use that 4-6 record anymore.

Too many variables and teams to keep track of. Much easier to just win out instead of having to depend on a bunch of teams they beat.

Indeed. But I think there is a good chance your game vs the Lions is moved to Sunday Night. If that happens, you should know either way.

I can't wait to see his reaction once we win out. Even better would be beating the Seachickens at home in the playoffs. He might never post here again or just eat crow for the rest of his posting life on here. Never doubt Rodgers.

I'll be here. I just hope you can handle the wrath that will be coming when the Hawks outlast the Packers. I doubt you'll be able to take it, but we'll see.
