You go by the numbers and Love is the best in the league and it is not close, I also think Davis is #2.

Davis vs LA...Davishas an elite PER, has more REB, Stl, and Blk per 36 while having fewer TOs. His FG% is better and neither can spread the floor. Davis is also 8 years younger.

When discussing best players I hesitate to include too much of the team success unless one of the players are a cancer to their team or I think that the team situation directly effects the numbers I am interpreting. Ultimately, the players put up numbers and the GMs make team success.

Ya it's love now and like you said not even close. Last night some clown tried to argue otherwise, it was embarrassing.

It could be Anthony Davis in the future.

West openly stated it was Aldridge. Love has great numbers, but the only time I saw him was against us. Not very impressive.

Wait, because you saw love play one time

You go with that over numbers?

What is wrong with this board?

Love wipes the floor with Aldridge in EVERYTHING

West is a top two way PF, I know that.

Watch out for Celtics 2nd year man Jared Sullinger if the back problem he had last year doesn't become chronic.

He's got his technique down cold and hustles every minute he's on the floor.

Definitely Love, followed by Aldridge, don't know why he isn't getting as much respect as he deserves. Davis is very good and going to be very good for a long time, if he can just bulk up a bit and stay healthy, he can very well challenege Love for being the best.

Aldridge is getting too much respect. Because his TEAM is good with a pG hitting game winners and he's finally averaging over 10 boards a game

People have their judgement clouded.

He's also put up solid numbers throughout his career, and was still getting no recognition, but now that he has a legit team around him, he's finally getting the hype. He's been flying under the radar in Portland for years.

This is a classic case of team vs star. The Pacers strength is in the front court and in general are defensive beasts. Love has half the supporting cast and they are playing poorly this year. It is easy for a team to shut down a player.
