So went to the wife's coworkers kids birthday party. The husband and wife are both doctors. My God they had a house on the ocean, 3 stories, had a elevator, amazing pool with a rock waterfall and much much more. It was amazing. The husband was concerned about the kids around the pool and asked us to keep a eye out for everyone especially his 3yr old son. I was the only adult in the pool because my son can't swim and he would have had a meltdown if he couldn't go in the pool. Well after 2hrs of swimming I hear "sir sir sir". I look to my right and this little girl is under the water. I grab her and hand her to her mom as the doctor runs over. Luckily she was under for maybe 2 seconds and was fine. Just very scary that just like that a accident could happen. My son has taken swim lessons and still has a lot more to do. 2 big things we do. He always wears a life vest and we keep always telling him he can't go in the pool or ocean without mommy or daddy. However kids don't always listen like this girl didn't and it makes me really scared. Luckily we don't have a pool.

Looks comfortable but don't like the footrest being separate. Had that type of style before and the foot rest not being attached causes problems. Also would like a place for my beer.

Yes I do. But I can't teach him as well as a licensed trainer plus the YMCA lessons were only $40 for like 6-8 weeks. Also we don't have a pool.

Yes you can teach him as well as a licensed trainer. Save the $40 and take him for ice cream after you to teach him to swim, it's called father son bonding time! There has to be water near you that you could use...
