I'd like to do a bracket style tournament to see which is the best MLB BallPark, as determined by us from all over the country. So first step is putting all 30 parks out there for everyone to vote on the best 16 to see which should be in the 16-park bracket. Then we can seed them from there and vote March Madness-style until we get to the best! So in this initial vote, you can vote for as many as you want. I suggest voting for your favorite 16 here though.

I was actually just there for the first time recently. It was much better than I thought or had heard. But I agree that it's definitely not the best though. But for this initial round I'm hoping people vote for multiple parks.

I was there in 2015 vs the Braves.

Better than I thought, but hard as hell to get around. I got lost looking for something to eat.

The outside is cool

I was sitting in the top level and I couldn't find any way to get down! lol. That did take a while. But yeah, cool from the outside and from the seats behind home plate.

I've been to Wrigley Field...was super disappointed in it. Haven't made it to Fenway yet though, but now I'm wondering is it similar to Wrigley? As far as super inconvenient and tight, old, etc. Anyone been to both that can answer that?

I was not allowed to change or at to my vote "Comerica Park", but I would like to give honorable mention to Camden Yards and Progressive Field for being the first two of a new style ballpark that has been the catalyst of all the newer ball parks built. Also Kauffman Field which was ahead of it's time.

I think you are being overly generous Frank. That place reminds me of what it was like playing wiffle ball in the basement when I was a kid

I have not been to Kaufman but I hear lots of positive reviews from those who have visited. Its definitely on my list. I have lost track of what SF's Park is called now, but it was very nice and I was shocked at how little ground it takes up.

All the newer parks are nice ... I like AT&T (San Francisco) because you can actually hit a baseball into the bay. All the newer parks must tip their hat to Camden Yards and Progressive Field!!

Wrigley is more comfortable and the sound of people's voices is less obnoxious.

I'll go to Wrigley again, I'm good on Fenway. It was cool the first time I went, 2000/2001. Now it's all fake modern nostalgia.

Monster Green is a copyrighted color, Benjamin Moore will gladly sell it.

I think that's my favorite stadium. (35/73 in the Cove are Barry Bonds work. No righty has ever done it.)

But I do love the Jake. I know, I know...

WOW ... Bonds must have been batting against pitchers on steroids to hit the ball that far that many times.

Nothing wrong with appreciating the Stadium of a competitor ... at least it doesn't look like a toilet bowl.

I avoid the interior of Ohia.

Great American is the best minor league park I've ever been to.

So you get all pissy whenever I mention meeeechegan & Jimmy Jam in the ALc thread yet you post this stuff in a different baseball thread? You're such a hypocrite.

This was relevant as a comparison, not an attempt to geek up that doug/iffy dude.

The views at AT&T and PNC are second to none.

Detroit's Comerica Park looks out over the city (in a pleasant way), but it would have been cool to put it right on the riverfront ... you could have hit one out of the country!!

You're so full of shit. Smitty mentioned the Cove & the Jake. Ohio Stadium has nothing to do w/ either of them. Now shouldn't you get back over to the ALc thread & defend doug's honor again?
