I thought The Wall was a little over the top. Still like DSOTM and Wish You Were Here better, even Meddle to some extent. 1979 was really the start of the decline of really good albums in my opinion.

Pretty much agreed. I would think there would be a flood of albums listed, if and when the OP does best album of say, 1972 or '73.
