Friend of mine had a border collie that was smarter than half the humans I know. Jazzie was super cool.

Recently had a client with 4 standard poodles and learned that they are also wicked smart and agility dogs. The 2nd part of that really surprised me, I just never figured them for "agile".

Wife, when she was my Gfriend, came home with an adorable boxer, to our first one bedroom apartment in NYC many years ago......Little did she know that a boxer living in a one bedroom apt is like you or I being forced to live in a closet.....Sadly had to give it up to a Boxer Rescue org after one crazy year....Watched my childhood shepard die, and gave away my boxer, probably 2 of the sadder events of my life...Now my young girls want a dog, and I have to make that decision

The longest yard was mildly amusing, but that might be because I had such low expectations for it.

I've seen Longest Yard but preferred the real one.

Oh for sure...poodles (especially standards) are some of the smartest breeds other there. Possibly top 5.

Did you know Standard Poodles were originally bred as bird dogs? Specifically water retrieval work.
