Have the Dalton apologists been watching the last 4 games? I know all I will here is 'but look at his stats' or 'he doesn't throw red zone ints,' but he makes bad reads and progressions, doesn't read defenses well, has no killer instinct, and doesn't have the physical ability to make very basic throws an NFL caliber QB should be able to make. I understand this probably isn't the thread for this, but it is just so frustrating to watch, and very unfortunate to see talents on D, and even a good amount on O, go squandered.

edit: living in DC, I rarely get to see full Bengal games, typically just what I can stream online/what is on Redzone, or the 2 times I got to see them live this year. Seeing full games at my parents place now, or in primetime is terribly frustrating. Impressive that you guys can do it every week.

Steering my kid towards baseball...

Yeah, but they gotta have something to keep their attention in the fall. I can't really steer them to the NBA because I don't watch it. I would say the NHL, but that's even more depressing than the Bengals in Ohio.

Speaking of which. Why the fuck isn't hockey a bigger deal in Ohio? We're a cold weather state. I would have definitely played hocky in school if it was a choice.

And now we're wasting a timeout on 3rd and 10 at the 10. It's fucking genius.

Not sure Gym.... I grew up outside of Cincinnati and hockey was nothing to us. Hockey is actually pretty decent in NC but we have had some success with the Hurricanes.

It's easy to not throw red zone INTs when you can't get your team into the end zone in the first place.

Or you decide not to make a throw to a wide open receiver..

I think our deep passing game all year has just been a prayer for a PI or holding call

Biggest game of every player and coaches lives. EVERY ONE OF THEM. They had an extended break and this is what they came up with? It's embarrassing.
