I agree. After thinking about it last night, I'd rather play Houston and Denver than NE and Houston. As hot as Denver is, and I know many will disagree with this, I'd rather play Manning in the playoffs than Brady.

I don't think it matters, because I don't think we'd beat either, but I agree with your point. Manning has had more early 'unexpected' exits from the playoffs than Brady. And even though Denver got some playoff experience last year, most guys on that roster are not familiar with being a heavy favorite in the playoffs. They could be ripe for an upset.

The difference between Denver and Indianapolis is Denver actually has a defense that Peyton can fall back on.

I've got Denver going all the way. I want(ed) no part of them.

For what it's worth, Manning's postseason passer rating is now higher than Brady's. plus he's won two conference titles and a SB. it's not like he can't win the big game..

Denver has the best defense in the leauge, one of the greatest QBs of alltime, and a tremndous HFA ... Atkins has the sickle cell trait, so that's a potential issue if the Bengals play Denver..

As far as I know, Atkins played in Denver last season. Right?

Ryan Clark played in Denver multiple times before his first issue.

I hope it wouldn't have an effect on Atkins, but there seems to be a history.

But Clark only sits out because he 'did' have an issue. It's not a certainty that it would happen - In fact, it's probably rare. Regardless, I doubt he'd sit.... But I certainly hope nothing happens.

Regardless, it would be a tough hill to climb even if everyone was healthy. Peyton was barely touched the first time we played them. We'd need them to make some mistakes.

I was hoping Houston just wouldn't show up.... You know, like the last 2 weeks of their season.

I'd agree with this. Again, I want no part of Tom Brady in the playoffs.

Does not really matter, but since we have not won a playoff game in 20+ years, better to get our first win out of the way before facing a team like Broncos or the Patriots. If you are going to play in the SB as a WC, you have to beat 3 damn good teams to even get there. So if we can't beat them, we don't deserve to be there. Just better to start with a better matchup and get some self confidence before the near impossible games.
