For the 2nd straight year it looks like the Bengals will travel to Houston for the Wild Card weekend. If Denver beats K.C and the Patriots beat Miami, both teams are currently winning, then the Bengals will get an opportunity to avenge last year's loss. And I like our chances considering the Texans having lost 3 of 4 during the last month while the Bengals sole loss was the heart breaker to Dallas.

I'd much rather play Houston than I would NE or Denver. If we didn't lose today and get Balt, I was hoping for Houston. We seem to match up a little better.

Saying that, we'll still probably lose by 20+, we were optimistic last year at this time too.

Hou is a better team, but its a very winnable game. Their secondary is banged up. Schaub is struggling. Dalton will need to be mindful of their Dline getting hands on passes. They do that better than anybody...but after what JJ watt did to him last year I'm sure he knows that.

Nailed it.

Arian Foster is the only one that worries me.

The key will be getting an early lead.

Owen Daniels always seems to slay us. Kubiak does a good job w their TE's.

We have been very good against TEs this year and outstanding against them since week 10.

overall the D has been great...but none of our LBers can cover anyone. Rey and Lawson are abysmsl in coverage. Crocker has looked bad recently.

Nelson and Burfict can cover though.

Burfict is okay in coverage. Overall, both he and Nelson have been playing very well recently. Crocker freaks me out on th back end of that defense.

Houston was the best result. The Broncos are on fire and beating them in the thin air of Denver isn't likely, and I want no part of Tom Brady in the playoffs. We've been pretty solid against the run.

sportsbook has the bengals as a 4.5 point underdog. they're given the best chance of any road team in the three games that are set (seattle vs dallas/washington still isn't set)

Certainly the best match up for us. We'll still get smoked, though. Can't win if you can't score.

Opening line is Houston by 4.5.......I'd say the linemakers agree this was our best possible matchup.....other lines, Ratbirds by 6.5 over Colts, Seattle by 2.5 at Washington, and the Pack by 8 at home over Minny.......

Just a few days ago I was saying Baltimore was our best matchup, but after seeing the first half last night, I have to agree with this. Houston was the best case scenario.

I agree. After thinking about it last night, I'd rather play Houston and Denver than NE and Houston. As hot as Denver is, and I know many will disagree with this, I'd rather play Manning in the playoffs than Brady.

My statistical matchup has this a very close game with Houston projecting a one point win. Adjusting for homefield, probably something like 24-21, as Sagarin's statistical model values homefield as just a little under two points this year. Anyway, we're not out of it. Other projections for those who care:

Baltimore 28 Indianapolis 20
Seattle 24 Washington 18
Green Bay 28 Minnesota 21
