Im nervous as hell but I predicted them to win an Im stickin with it.......

Bengals 31

Packers 28

Nugent hits a 52 yard fg at the gun! IF WE LOSE we smack Cleveland and NE and will be 3-2 after 5....We can only lose NO MORE than 3 the rest of the way.... SO we need to go 10-3 or better.......

Dalton 31 -45 for 335 3TDs and 1 INT

BGE 20 for 85 1 TD

Bernard 10 for 60 and 4 catches for 58 1 TD

Green
8 for 156 1TD

Defense:

4 sacks on Rodgers...But he goes 33 - 39 for 389 4TDs 1 INT

We shut down the run but cant get enough pressure on Rodgers to slow him down even with 4 sacks...This dude is a fuckin monster!

Stay tuned lets see how close I get with this 1.....

If Rodgers throws for nearly 400 yards and 4 TD, this game won't even be close. THe offense can't get into a shoot-out with GB.

31-17 GB.

There will probably be a ton of turnovers and lead changes...... I figure the Bengals will win 34-30.

Dalton will probably still suck though.

35-24 GB

Don't think we can keep up. Rodgers should pick apart our secondary and LBs

27-20 Pack. Our defense keeps it competitive, but in the end Andy just can't keep up. For the record, I'd be very happy if Dalton has a huge game and outduels Rodgers. Just can't see it happening.

I'm seeing a bloodbath. I hope I'm wrong, but I can't shake the feeling this is going to be ugly for the Bengals.

Packers 27 - Bengals 21

Packers score a TD and extra point with less than 4 minutes to go in the game to go up, and the Bengals can't drive for a TD in that period of time, turnover on downs, Pack run out the clock.

But, Dalton looks good yet again, and throws for his first 300 yard game of the year.

It's an elite defense vs an elite QB. nowadays the elite QB has the edge. I do see a close game decided in the 4th quarter.. Packers 30 Bengals 22

Cincinnati MUST pressure Aaron Rodgers. The Bengals have the weapons to exploit the middle of the field where the Pack are very vulnerable. Gresham and Eiffert will have opportunities.

If they accomplish a modicum of the two things pointed out above then:

Bengals 28

Packers 24

The Bengals can't let Rodgers have all day vs. our depleted DB's.

Over the last 2 seasons, we have yet to beat a playoff team. So, while we won't be able to come to many conclusions with a win or loss in the 3rd week of the season, but it would definitely be a sign of growth if we can pull out the win.

I'm impressed. A positive spin and hopeful outlook.

If we want the Bengals to be respected as a true contender, the next step forward is to beat an already recognized contender. This game would surely qualify. I just don't see our defense holding them down enough, especially with the problems we have at corner. That would mean our offense is going to have to light up the scoreboard. A formidable test for the Dalton gang, especially coming off an emotional game vs the Steelers.

a contender would have beat the shit out of that steelers team.

we didn't.

a contender wouldn't have blown a lead to "duh bears"

we did.

Therefore, we are not a contender.

one more year of losing in the first round, then maybe we'll figure something out.

The Steelers is a rivalry game. They covered the spread, which at -7 was the highest in their favor vs the Steelers in a damned long time. The Steelers play defense way too well to expect a blowout there. The Bears are also a pretty good team, though they really shouldn't have blown that lead to them. The Pack are definitely the best team on the home schedule this year, apologies to the Pats, and beating them would be a justifiable reason to believe the team has improved. Don't accuse me of predicting the win, I covered that in an earlier post. Just trying to accurately set the stage for what is at stake today.
