The deal basically pays out most of the money (and cap space) over the next year -- Perfect given that we saved all that cap space by not paying last season. It feels odd to say it, but the Bengals seem to be doing a good job managing a roster under the new CBA. I feel like I'm living in a bizzaro world.

I think we looked closer at that last year, they seem poised to just spend the minimum of what they have to spend to get by without paying a penalty, but if they go over that and end up in the middle, no big deal I guess.
