Well, can't say it was a good game as both defenses looked like crap, but congratulations on the win Bengals fans!

What are you talking about? You thought that play was fine. And it damned near cost us the game. We were just lucky enough to play a team that is actually worse than we are.

Rewind a little and think of how field position works. On the ensuing punt from the Redskins, we received the ball at the 49 yard line and go on to score 3 points.

It doesn't, but that's how field position works. With our defense being all over them in the first quarter, Marvin took the chance, and it worked.

We only gained 22 yards that possession.

I don't disagree with the fake as much as running it like that. He should have thrown on the fake or ran it like LSU did a few years ago.

I didn't like the play call personally, and I made that known in the thread.

But the end result was the same. That's the only thing I'm saying. Technically, we did not leave any points on the board.

No, it seals the deal because it's fact. It's not open to debate or discussion.

I just got back from the game. Man, that sucked. Honestly, it never should have been as close as it was with the way you guys were torching our secondary. Good game, Bengal fans, and good luck going forwards. Oh, and you still have 3 games against the NFC East...I expect 3 wins!

On the 10 second runoff deal, the ref was wrong to say it should have happened. He said it, and the off field official person ran on to tell him that he got that wrong, and he corrected it to no runoff. 10 second runoffs are only for penalties, ie. intentional grounding or a false start while the clock is moving. When the real officials are there, that's when you'll hear them use the phrase "4th timeout". I've always hated the terminology, since you only get 3 damn timeouts, but that's what they always say.

LOL! The stats show exactly what every Bengal fan already knew - Rey M. is awful. Honestly, they'd be better off simply starting Muck in the middle at this point. Nothing can be worse than what we are currently watching. I think they should give the guy his outright release - He has clearly regressed to the point where he is no longer capable of playing in the NFL.

I'd like to see Burfict and Muck split time in the middle. Put Rey on the outside when Burfict is in and then put Burfict out there when Muck is in the middle.

Even though it was a neutral performance, it was nice to see Burfict hold his own in a position he's never played before.
