Also, John Clayton ranked him as the 9th best CB in the NFL. Apparently some people DO think he's "marginally good".

That's just an opinion by one service (Scouts Inc). You said NOBODY has said he was good. I just proved you wrong. Bleacher Report lists him at #94 on their overall list, approximately 50 spots higher than JJ>

I use my eyes. He has solid cover skills, and great hands. He doesn't have great high-end speed, but with a better pass rush, that doesn't matter as much. He's not an all-time great, but he's better than 2/3rds of the CBs in the league.

not a top 200 player according to who? Some totally subjective list? hall and Whit are both very solid players and deserving of the contracts they got. if we didnt pay them someone else would. Kramer, alot of time your criticisim is valid but do you honestly have a beef with the Bengals extending these guys? Why?

All the previous moves have been so bad, saying one move was good really isn't saying anything. In essence, anything can look/seem good when compared to crap.

Whether you think Hall is good or not, he would have made as much or more on the open market. He's every bit as good as Jonathan Joseph and he plays in more games.

We get it Kramer.... the Bengals suck ..... we're pretty much all with you there.... but even the worst teams have some good players, which Hall is.....I realize you painted yourself into a corner concerning Hall three years ago, so you feel like you have to stick to what you said about him then....give it up, you're wrong on this one.....

Yup. That's exactly it. Kramer came out when Hall was drafted and said he'd be out of he league in 3 years. Said he was terrible. He's been proven wrong, and rather than admit that Hall is a decent corner, he'd rather just continue on...
