What the fuck? That was actually a good deal for the Bengals. Leon Hall must have cancer or something that he's hiding from us. He would have been way overpaid on the open market next season.

Don't forget, that it will help towards that 2013 team specific cap. Once that goes into play, the only way teams are going to be able to make money is to win. No longer can you pocket and profit from losing. Eventually, it will catch up to you in the new CBA.

Smartest move we've made in a while. Which isn't saying a whole lot.

This doesn't make up for the terrible off-season but it's definitely a positive note. The Bengals can't afford to lose JJ and Hall in back to back years.

With how peeved Zimmer was with losing JJ, it leads me to believe he may have forced Brown's hands to get a deal done with Hall.

I hope Zimmer forces Brown's hand to promote him to head coach next.

JJ said in his Houston press conference that the Bengals made an extremely competitive offer, but he decided it was time to move on. So I think if Joseph stayed here, Brown would have still tried to resign Hall regardless of JJ's contract.

The way this post reads, is that we constantly are making good moves in the front office, not how you meant it to come across. Just saying. Everyone knew what you meant though. At least that is the way it reads to me.

So just because he made a "competitive" offer when his back was against the wall, that means he would've made one when his back wasn't against the wall? The same Brown who loves to lowball his players in negotiations?

Hall just really isn't that good. The bar has been set so low here it's sad.

He actually said it correctly.

All the previous moves have been so bad, saying one move was good really isn't saying anything. In essence, anything can look/seem good when compared to crap.

And yet those in the NFL consider him one of the best young corners in the league...your hate is laughable at times. The guy may not be the #1 CB in the NFL, but he certainly is a very good one, and one that can stay healthy. JJ was much more athletic, but he couldn't cover a WR from the damn bench 5 times a year.

He's never mentioned ever as being even marginally good. I also have eyes. The guy is complete toast. He'd be a great SS as he's a good tackler, but he can't cover for shit. How many probowls has he made?

If there were a chance he could pick Hall in a Fantasy League, he would (ahem...AJ Green and Benson). Kramer is all talk.

Benson will play 1 bye week unless injury to the other 2 much better players. Green will be waived in short order, obviously. Go fuck yourself?

Hall sucks. You people must be blind.
