With how peeved Zimmer was with losing JJ, it leads me to believe he may have forced Brown's hands to get a deal done with Hall.
Smartest move we've made in a while. Which isn't saying a whole lot.
JJ said in his Houston press conference that the Bengals made an extremely competitive offer, but he decided it was time to move on. So I think if Joseph stayed here, Brown would have still tried to resign Hall regardless of JJ's contract.
The way this post reads, is that we constantly are making good moves in the front office, not how you meant it to come across. Just saying. Everyone knew what you meant though. At least that is the way it reads to me.
Hall just really isn't that good. The bar has been set so low here it's sad.
And yet those in the NFL consider him one of the best young corners in the league...your hate is laughable at times. The guy may not be the #1 CB in the NFL, but he certainly is a very good one, and one that can stay healthy. JJ was much more athletic, but he couldn't cover a WR from the damn bench 5 times a year.

If there were a chance he could pick Hall in a Fantasy League, he would (ahem...AJ Green and Benson). Kramer is all talk.
